About

Following my undergraduate studies at The Leeds School of Art, Architecture and Design, I worked as a Cultural Journalist for Belfast based culture magazine, CultureHUB. In early 2016, I traveled to Bolgatanga, in northern Ghana for a three month internship with TradeAID Integrated in partnership with International Service, a UN NGO, through a sustainable development project with the Department for International Development.

After returning to the UK and working as a newsroom reporter at the Asian Express Newspaper, I studied for Master’s of Laws (LLM) in International Human Rights Law at the University of York in 2018, in order to specialise in human rights journalism. Since graduating I have worked in range of freelance journalistic and advocacy based roles.
